Recreational Activities and Facilities

Wilkie is home to various recreational facilities that provide opportunities for sports, fitness, and leisure activities. Our parks, sports fields, and community centers are open year-round, offering something for every season. Key facilities include:

  • Saskcan Community Centre: A hub for hockey, curling, and community events.
  • Wilkie Swimming Pool: A perfect spot for families to cool off during the summer months.

  • Wilkie Regional Park: Offers camping, ball diamonds, and scenic areas for picnicking and relaxation. The Regional Park is usually open for mid May of each year.  

Events and Festivals

Farmer's Days Weekend - February 28-March 1 - There will be a pancake breakfast, volleyball tournament, family bingo, town vs. farmer's hockey game and so much more!!!

Townwide Garage Sale and Spring Tradeshow weekend - May 23, 24 & 25 - The tradeshow will take place on Saturday, May 25 and the garage sales start on Friday and go until Sunday.  

Jump Into Summer - June 13 & 14 - Parade, ball tournament, kids activities and lots more!!!
